Getting Started / Concept
For many drivers a custom painted design is a call sign to spectators and camera’s alike. The field of custom design and paint for motorsports is an exciting one indeed. Using my graphic design background and personal taste of clean intelligent designs I tend to focus my style on clean, symmetrical, and corporate friendly designs. As you may have noticed the style for auto racers and moto racers is drastically different, while I have more experience in auto related helmets I also love being challenged with the moto style as well. One aspect that can be said for both styles is the importance of color combinations and a balance of color throughout the whole helmet. With the use of striking color combo’s, intricate pinstriping, and faint shading and highlighting it is easy to make an otherwise plain design pop. Other important things to consider are corporate logo placement, driver’s names, sentimental iconography or symbols, the use of elements from favorite drivers/riders helmet’s, and patriotic symbols and colors of one’s heritage or place of origin.
If you have a specific design in
mind you can
download a
design template and draw in your own design. (the design templates are of an Arai GP-5, if you have a different helmet and want a different template simply email us and tell me what helmet you want a template for). Simply fax or email it back and we can get started turning your ideas into reality. If you know you want a custom painted helmet but don’t know where to start, consider some of the points mentioned above and either email or call and we can start hammering out ideas together. Or, you can leave everything up to us and we can create a true one of a kind creation specially for you.
If you need an exact color match be sure to mail a color chip with your helmet. Note that turn around time varies with
each helmet and we will make every effort to meet your desired completion date. If you absolutely have to have it done by a specific time and there are only 2 weeks from when the helmet arrives to the date it has to be finished and shipped out a rush fee will be added to the quote

Preparation
For the very best results, we recommend that you begin with a new solid white helmet. we sell all the best brands of auto and moto helmets on the market, you can go to the store to find the right one for you. We do not recommend you remove any molding or do any sanding yourself. Helmet shells are also welcome.
Payment
A 50% deposit is required before we can start painting your piece of art. We accept personal checks, cashiers checks, money Order, Visa or Mastercard, and Paypal. the remaining balance must be mailed and cleared before the finished helmet is shipped back. if you are paying thru the convenience of Paypal a 3% fee will be added to cover the transaction fee.
